....look forward to looking back? 

I know this next family can.  I know without a doubt they will never regret taking the time every year to meet with their whole entire family for Thanksgiving to celebrate both it and Christmas together.  Wow, I can only imagine the memories they've gathered.  So, I was honored to squeeze them in and capture a few of just them away from the Klan.  Hated it that the whole thirty something of them couldn't be together at one time, but I can definitely understand it.  I will not get to editing them before the holidays because as I've said before I was over booked this season to begin with but here are a few that I enjoyed Chris.  It was so great to meet everyone =-)

This was one of my favorites!!!!  Gorgeous couple these two, if I'd only had you in an urban setting ::sigh::

and together they've brought this little guy into the world...

and this is a little one that was enjoying the verrryy cold crisp air that day, and how could I pass up this doll?  So glad she didn't seem to mind because she's an angel....

 

Hope everyone is enjoying this time of year.  I'm thrilled to be done with Christmas shopping, yayyyyy!!!!  Big shout out to the hubby for dragging me around half delirious on meds from being so ill, lol.  If it wasn't on my list then I'm not responsible for it.  I don't remember much.  Sorry that I kept calling Sis, and asking the same things over and over, lol :-)  Thankfully I'm beggining to feel somewhat myself. 

And a big CoNgRaTs!!! to the MV Senior boys for winning the Lyon College Tourn. over the weekend =-D

...is so perfectly precious.  I am head over heels in love with this first one.  No she's not smiling, but I feel like I could drown in those eyes.

and do you recognize this expression? (my banner) I got that look alot.  She'll grow out of it just as quick as it came which is why it's so important to have these precious little things in images to treasure years down the road.

Little Ladd...

   

You've seen this special family before here on the blog. Although I can't go into detail right now, other then to tell you he has had a very complicated surgery this morning.  I have been told the surgery went okay, but now he is running a fever.  I ask that you pray for Ladd and his family today.  They need your prayers very much and then we'll leave the rest to God.

 

Kindred Spirit...

I can't even begin to tell you thrill I had in meeting this Senior!!  When she pulled out her Free People catalog for inspiration I was just giddy!  This tickled her but seriously I was like a kid in a candy store.  You see Kelsey is sooo my stlye as a photographer.  I look to Anthropologie  and Free People  for inspiration.  And if I was even a little rich I'd be one of their best customers because I'm so in love with their things although I really can't pull off the Free People look.

So back to the Senior Artist, I have two more clients before editing your session  and I'm super excited about what we came away with =-)  Remember the suitcase?  I'm posting two variations.  I love the feel of them both and the outfit is what made it work ;-)   Thank you Kelsey for being true to you.....

Family for Thanksgiving...

We had gorgeous Thanksgiving day weather!  I loved visiting with all the family and thanks Jamie for traveling all the way from Texas with those two children.  It was a joy to see you again. Hope we don't let that much time pass again before we see you ;-)  Here are a few images I captured before our dinner.  I'm still crazy about the turkey headband and shirt.  Soooo cute!

 

  

I love this next image :-)  It's a perfect example of how not everything is about looking at the camera.  Little 'J' was so interested in her surroundings probably thinking how good that grass might taste, lol and the little man planted some love on momma's cheek and preciously closes his eyes when he does this.  Momma's pride just radiates in her face.  Love it and them.....

   

I hope everyone is ready for Christmas because it's on it's way!  I'm using every spare minute to get everything edited so please continue to have patience with me.  I have learned from this experience that I will never overbook again :-o  Needless to say, I have no more available sessions until after the new year.

Just wanted to share an image of a very sweet little man.  Him and his parents are in the album on the left of the blog.  He's grown so much.  If his parents okay it I wll share his special story but for now I ask you to keep him in your prayers.  Love you little Ladd....
